Mothers and More invites you to set aside your day-to-day duties for a time while you recharge and refresh by joining together with other moms who also want to expand their thoughts beyond kids, family, and work – whether it is around the house or out in the world.What They Do:
The Elkhart County chapter of Mothers & More gets together on the first Monday of every month at 7pm for an evening meeting (without kids) at the Martin’s Supermarket located on SR 19/Nappanee Street in Elkhart. While nursing infants are welcome, once children are mobile, we encourage mothers to leave them with a responsible caregiver so she can concentrate on her own needs and be able to make connections without the constant distractions that are an inevitable part of mothering mobile toddlers and preschool children.
They also offer weekly playgroups for mothers and their children, a monthly Mom’s Night Out, which is additional chance for Mom to enjoy herself without the continuous responsibility of attending to the needs of others, and a Mom’s Night In which is an opportunity for mothers to gather in an informal setting for games, scrapbooking or fun activities.
Everyone is encouraged to attend 3 events prior to joining our Mothers & More chapter.
